Estimated driving time (via mapquest): 30 hrs., 57 minutes

Is it fair to budget 3-days’ driving at 10 hours’ each day?

Or is it safer to budget 4-days in case I hit construction, delays, etcetera?

I’ve averaged out the gas at .75 / gallon for a car with a 12-gallon tank.

2,157.23 miles / 210 miles per tank (estimated) = 10.27 tanks of gas

.75 / gallon x 12-gallon tank = / tank x 10.27 tanks = 2.15

I’ve never done this so … please explain a better way.
