		<description>I was just up there at Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday, (Oct. 7, 08), for a hike, and there is no snow there yet but it&#039;s definitely starting to cool off. You might encounter snow there in late October. One way to find out about snow there is to look at their visitor center webcam here:

As far as hiking, there is lots of hiking there. I did the hike to Cub Lake yesterday, which is relatively easy but I also like the hikes to Bierstadt Lake, Mills Lake, and Dream Lake, among others. There are also a good number of waterfall hikes there although there won&#039;t be as much water in them in late October. One of the easiest of those is the hike to Alberta Falls.
