		<description>Forestry, ecology, environmental science - any of these would be good, or even biology and concentrating on the field work.  A friend of mine has a BS in environmental science, but he&#039;s not making 45k and probably never will - even with a PhD he wouldn&#039;t be making 70k unless he decided to teach instead of do field work.  And coincidentally, he has the same name as you (as much of it as you&#039;ve used here).&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

field biologists -

you could go into studying rodents, ecology, fisheries, entomology, birds...basically zoology stuff or behavioral science - or popluations of wild animals - that would get you out doing field work.  ...also botany is a possibility
