I am in college now and i just can’t seem to pick something to do. I am equally good at all sciences, pretty good at math too.
What careers could I look into that would allow me to travel around, working in different outdoor places?
I love animals but also like technical sciences. I was thinking maybe something in biology or maybe some kind of field engineer.
I’d like to start at no less than around 45,000 and eventually get to around 70,000. Any ideas? Neeeeeeeeeeeeed help!!!
Forestry, ecology, environmental science – any of these would be good, or even biology and concentrating on the field work. A friend of mine has a BS in environmental science, but he’s not making 45k and probably never will – even with a PhD he wouldn’t be making 70k unless he decided to teach instead of do field work. And coincidentally, he has the same name as you (as much of it as you’ve used here).

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a Trackbackdunno about the salary but
field biologists -
you could go into studying rodents, ecology, fisheries, entomology, birds…basically zoology stuff or behavioral science – or popluations of wild animals – that would get you out doing field work. …also botany is a possibility
as far as the traveling, – depends on what you’re going to study
